Chorley Hedgehog Rescue celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025 so we wanted to hold a special event to mark this incredible milestone.​​

Meet four of our hedgehog patients up close and personal during this special hedgehog encounter event. 

 

Thursday 22nd May, 7pm to 9pm

Eaves Green Community Centre, Cottage Fields, Chorley, PR7 3QE

Our volunteer handlers will introduce you to some of the spikey characters we care for in our rescue facility.  You will hear all about their stories and how they ended up at the Rescue and what treatment they've had.  The hedgehogs will be carefully selected so you get to meet some of the most beautiful personalities we have the honour of caring for every day.  There will be plenty of photo opportunities and the chance to ask any questions.

On arrival participants will be placed into four small groups.  Each group will be allocated an encounter station where you will meet your first hedgehog.  After 30 minutes each group will rotate round the room to the next encounter station where you will meet your next hedgehog, until you have met all four hedgehogs.

Spaces are strictly limited to maintain the intimate nature of this hedgehog encounter event.
